Check out this ultra-modern fireplace using white ledge stone. It was just what our client had visualized. The inset fireplace with steel face and steel mantel pull this look together beautifully!

Couldn’t we all use a little more whimsy in our lives? Our client provided this darling custom, hand-made deco that we set in the shower walls including the nook. When grouted with a grey grout, it really pops out from the surrounding white, over sized subway tiles. And yes, the bathroom walls are yellow. You can’t help but smile when you walk into this guest bathroom.

This Pentwater country home kitchen remodel called for the classic look of matt finish, white subway tile! The backspalsh spans the entire counter top, but the highlight is how it frames the beautiful new stove, cooktop, and range vent. The custom herringbone inlay outlined with white quartz chair rail and pencil liners sets off the pot filler faucet. Is dinner ready yet?

Our client’s new bachelor pad called for a custom designed shower in a corner alcove that included a slanted roof line. No problem! We tiled the floor, walls, and ceiling after installing a custom cement shower pan. The floor is set with 2 x 2 tiles, the walls and ceiling are set on a straight pattern with 12 x 24 tiles and a vertical 12 x 24 deco. We bordered it with contrasting bullnose and a solid stone curb. The floor is a complimentary color 12 x 24 tile set on a one third pattern.

A modern new vacation cabin on a tiny northern Michigan lake. The peace and quiet, the adventure, the beauty, and the indulgence! This client wanted a vacation with all the comforts of home. Beautiful showers including one with 12 x 24 tiles set on vertical, stacked, and cradling a waterfall of glass deco. Custom designed quartz nook shelf, shave step, and curb coordinated with vanity counter top. Another shower with 12 x 24 tiles on a one third pattern set horizontal with glass deco as well as quartz soap dish, shave step, and curb to match the vanity counter top. The tub is surrounded by classic 4 x 8 subway tile with both a staggered and herringbone pattern separated with a marble pencil liner. Indulge! Enjoy!

Our client had a small tiled entryway that needed to be updated and they decided to also do the fireplace hearth with the same material. This porcelain tile brings a fresh new look to this hearth.

Come on in. No hurry….Relax!
Our client’s vision of a “private escape master bath” was brought to life with beautiful porcelain tile and Durango travertine curb and shave shelf. The floor has 18 x 18 tiles set on the diagonal to add dimension and definition to the space. Matching 12 x 24 tile wraps around the tub and into the shower. The shower features a custom concrete pan with 2 x 2 tile floor, a built-in nook and a beautiful, bold deco.

Never underestimate the power of a moment of silence and stillness. This custom steam shower invites you to sit, relax, and allow the stress of the day to be melted away.
The beautiful mosaic tile inlay in this shower is framed and surrounded by large white subway tile. The subway tile extends throughout the entire room, wrapping around the enormous soaking tub. The larger floor tiles are set on a diagonal pattern and the shower floor is set in a stunning herringbone pattern. All of this comes together to create the vision that our client had for a Luxury Home Spa.

Natural brick set on a herringbone pattern creates the warm welcome home that our client envisioned.
After hand setting each 3/8th inch thick brick and paying particular attention to color placement, each brick was treated with two coats of natural brick sealer. The floor was then grouted and treated with another coat of sealer on the brick and grout.
The result is a beautiful entryway floor that our client reports is very easy to keep clean.
To tie it all together, the same brick is used at the fireplace in the living room.
